Recently I have had lots of time to think. I have been with the army for 7 years or so. And love every min. of it. I look forward to many more years in the army. As some of you know, and for those of you who don't know I was diagnosed when I was 18 with degenerative disk disease and spinal bifida. I was suppose to be in a wheel chair at the age of 25.HA Ha I laugh. I beat that one. Yoga is awsome. Here I am a few months away from 30, left thinking. I want to continue fighting with the unit. I am looking for advice from everone. If you know me and know anything about me. I would like to know what people think about me and where I would be best suited to help the unit out. I tried non comm work that didn't work out to well. I enjoy fighting and holding office. I have trained many fighters, and feel I am a great trainer. I am also in the prosses of starting a new park in the town I live in. Constructive critisim is also welcome. Plz feel free to say what ever is on your mind. If it is something I need to work on, change, or just do. I am doing this to beter the unit. I want to help in any way I can. Oh, and don't let the disability fool you. I have a lot of heart for the sport. Plus I still can fight just Some days I move like an old man. Sorry Wassad and the other old people. Lets work together to make this a Greater unit. I want people to want to join us not just because we are fun to party with or are bad ass fighters. I want people to seek us out and hunt us down and know that we are the fire that comes down of the mountain. WAAARGG- KMMK

Many of the new officers have mentioned that we need more unit cohesion on the battlefield. Could you come up with some drills that our officers can bring to their local battle practices? These drills would help bring awareness about working together in battle.
Some ideas I had:
-Pick a friend and loose a limb if they die. -Pick roles and play them during a fight. Defender - Kill no one but place yourself strategically to defend teammates. Striker - Kill and retreat. (We all play this one well.) Melee Support - Pick a partner and practice opening up shots for them by throwing distractions and flanking shots. Ranged Support - Same as above but for ranged partner. Takes more of a defender role. Warcaller - Practice calling orders. Staying out of combat enough to see the flow of battle, but supporting your team where needed. ... There are probably other roles I am not thinking of, but the goal is that each teammate chooses a focus for the fight and sticks to it win or loose.
Monkey, you have the experience to help create these drills and if the leaders in the different areas start practicing it, we will become a more cohesive force on the battlefield.

Holy shit! I never knew you had a disc disease! (By the way, Chesier says he now has a fuck ton of respect for you, says that people who can fight like that are like Fuck I can't remember how he put it...)
Anyways drills to make us co-op more would be grand. I'm still working on trying to get us going up here, but man... these Northwesterners are werid as hell...

i have been thinking about this for a while. Thats why I wanted to have an officer meeting at the begining of each event. It just hasn't worked out his way. This something I would realy like to push. Maybe our new General could arrange this at the events.

Those are some good ideas Wasad. I'm thinking I might pick that up and try that out with my guys.
Also Monkey I agree, meetings would be a good thing to have at the start of an event if able.
I honestly was real pleased with the open meeting we had at Warghoul. Every member got a chance to listen and ask their leaders questions. I would like to have another one of theses in the future.

About meetings: I had some complaints about the length of the Warghoul meeting. I reminded them of our dental plan for complainers, but took their complaint to heart. I suggest an "if your interested meeting" and then an "awards meeting" that everyone attends.
I agree though, that I like the open forum of our meetings and commend Odd for bringing some in character flair to the last one. TO WAR!!!!

one thing i suggested is a quik meeting first night of event. So all the officers can get reaquinted and also get to know the new ones. ( meet and greet) then add a new sugestion that they take back to there usual units they came with. IE.. two black speach words. eventually we will have a great comunication. And have our own language on and off the feild. At two words an event it makes it easier to break the language down , Plus like for the people who have several officers mabe a exchange. IE ... take a officer from Thangordrum and have them lead a group from mordor. or wherever in the unit. it gives the lower ranks a chance to fight together with other members. and eventually we can work together as a whole unit. I know that each endividual park is comfortable with fighting with each other, lets mix it up. plus this gives the officers a chance to get some leadership skills in. plus maby charisma points. I also think this will break down the leadership, and each officer will be able to turn to the next rank down and pass an order.. and in turn pass it down the ranks. So we can start working on strengths and weaknesses. These are just a few suggestions. We have ranks lets use them to our advantage

I think an exchange would be great. I would be willing to host someone for a bit, and I'm sure there are others all across the board. It's just a matter of people having time and money to do it really.

i was talking mainly at events. but as far a outside events that could be a possibility also. who knows. there are many possibilities. I think we can make this work so be can be as tight on the feild as well as off.

Lol. Mordor exchange student program. I guess thats better than, "Wasad, you are being stationed in Thangordrim. Pack your bags."
